Included in our timeline are a few of the milestones we are most proud of reaching.  

  • 2002 – Wayleaves.com (WDC) is established to provide wayleave & easement services, advising landowners and utility companies.
  • 2003 – We work with Western Power Distribution on multiple projects, including defective pole surveys. We establish a relationship with UPL, providing consents consultation, & working with various telecom providers. We successfully complete a 132kV overhead tower line diversion at Bracknell (a Standard Life project).
  • 2004 – Appointed by Cofton to assist with a new connection for Dragon Film Studios, Llanilid. This is the start of a long-term relationship with EHN, now Acciona Energy, on multiple projects.
  • 2005 – TUSC Ltd is formed to provide utility connections & diversions on large-scale projects. We begin Newport town centre redevelopment with Operon, for Modus. Appointed by Simons Construction to work on multiple projects, including advising on planning consent for electricity substations. We obtain consents for electricity connections to mast sites for Orange.
  • 2006 – Start of a long-term relationship with Alfred McAlpine / Carillion, beginning with work on the M4 widening project. We provide University College London Hospitals (UCLH) connections. We commence work to divert a tower line for Barratt Homes (East Midlands). We are also appointed by Terrace Hill and are appointed to advise Taylor Wimpey on new connections and diversions.
  • 2007 – TUSC works with Fitzpatrick, on the Terrace Hill redevelopment at Nordon Road and is also appointed by the Buckingham Group on the MK Dons Stadium. We commence works with O2, obtaining consents for electricity connections to their mast sites.
  • 2008 – At the Olympic Village, TUSC works with Metricab Power Engineering to ensure on-time delivery of temporary power supplies. We also negotiate consent to lay foulwater outfall pipes for PlayGolf. Buckingham Group appoint TUSC for new multi-utility connections and diversions works for the new Brighton and Hove Albion FC’s football stadium in Falmer, known as the American Express Community Stadium. Additionally, we commence providing consultancy services to LaSalle Investment Management on a number of sites.
  • 2009 – Upton Estate asks TUSC to assist with diversions & multiple connections, as part of its business park redevelopment. TUSC provides wayleave new connections services to Statkraft for its wind farm sites in Scotland and Wales. Appointed by Digital Realty to work on the company’s first data centre in Redhill.
  • 2010 – TUSC expands to the West Coast of North America. TUSC commences second stage work with Taylor Wimpey in Britain, on a major housing development in East Anton. We are also appointed by Digital Realty to work on its second new data centre at Redhill. TUSC also begins providing services for two new LaSalle Investment sites.
  • 2011 – Power is achieved at the new Redhill Data Centre in the 1st quarter of 2011. In the 2nd quarter, TUSC completes multi-utility connections & diversions work on the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton, East Sussex, the new home of Brighton and Hove Albion FC.
  • 2012 – TUSC commences providing multi utility consultancy services on one of the largest mixed-use schemes in Europe for Brockton Capital with JV partner Milligan. We are also appointed to work on Virtus Data Centre sites and commence work for CGG Veritas on a new connection for its site at Redhill Unit 1, during the 3rd quarter of 2012. Chessington Data Centre is energized during the 3rd quarter. CGG Veritas’ site is completed in the 4th quarter.
  • 2013 – TUSC is appointed by Renewable Development Wales, MS Power Projects, REG Wind Power and West Solent Solar Co-operative to provide wayleave and new connection consultancy services on consented renewable energy sites in England and Wales. We are also appointed to provide multi-utility consultancy on Brockton/Grantham JV sites in London.
  • 2014 – Whilst continuing with existing long term development projects, we were pleased to complete our sixth largest data centre connection, a 20MVA connection for our client, successfully energized at their LON2 site in Hayes, Middlesex. This was the fifth data centre that TUSC has completed.
  • 2015 – We began work with and completed projects for Western Power Distribution (West Midlands) and Galliford Try at the Genting Casino development in Birmingham.  We also worked on renewable developments for clients such as Wind Ventures, Baywa R.E. as well as many others.
